Mass Effect 3′s changes to Mass Effect 2′s core combat mechanics are not as drastic as the changes Mass Effect 2 made to the original Mass Effect, however improvements have been made and new capabilities introduced.Difficulty will be increased, with Casey Hudson describing Normal as “the new Veteran”. An increase in overall combat speed of 10-15%. Shepard is now more agile in combat. Changes to movement in combat include the ability to roll, leap over ledges or gaps without taking cover first, optimised maneuvering and firing from cover and the removal of fatigue while running. Melee plays a larger role, all classes receive improved melee with each one receiving a unique heavy melee attack. Enemy AI has been improved. Enemies now perform specific functions on the battlefield and coordinate with other enemies. For example, ‘cover buster’ enemies, such as Husks, are often paired with a ‘suppressor’ enemy type, which will try to keep Shepard in cover while the Husks get in close.

Skyrim‘s main story revolves around the player character’s efforts to defeat a dragon god who is prophesied to destroy the world. Set two hundred years after Oblivion, the game takes place in the land of Skyrim in the midst of a civil war after the assassination of the king. The open world gameplay of the Elder Scrolls series is continued in Skyrim, as the player character can explore the land at will and ignore or postpone the main quest indefinitely.

The nonlinear gameplay traditional in the Elder Scrolls series is incorporated in Skyrim. The player can explore the open world of Skyrim on-foot or on horseback, and fast-travel to cities, towns and dungeons after they have been discovered. Quests are given to the player by non-player characters (NPCs) in the world, and through the Radiant Story system, the quests can be dynamically altered to accommodate for player actions which may influence the quest’s characters and objectives. The Radiant Story system further directs the player’s interaction with the world by setting unexplored dungeons as quest locations.^[9] When not completing quests, the player can interact with NPCs through conversation, and they may request favors or training in skills from the player Some NPCs can become companions to the player to aid in combat, and some companions can be married.The player may choose to join factions, which are organized groups of NPCs such as the Dark Brotherhood, a band of assassins. Each of the factions have a headquarters, and they have their own quest paths which the player can progress through. The economy of cities and towns can be stimulated by completing jobs such as farming and mining, or harmed by sabotaging industrial buildings.

Character development is a primary element of Skyrim. At the beginning of the game, the player selects one of many human or anthropomorphic races, each of which has different natural abilities, and customizes their character’s appearance.^[14] A perpetual objective for the player is to improve their character’s skills, which are numerical representations of their ability in certain areas. There are eighteen skills divided evenly between the three schools of combat, magic and stealth, and training ten times in these skills results in the player’s character leveling-up. Previous Elder Scrolls games made use of a class system to determine which skills would contribute to the character’s leveling, but its removal in Skyrim allows for a preferred play-style to be developed naturally.^[ When their character levels, the player may choose to select a skill-specific ability called a perk, or store perks for later use. Upon leveling fifty times, the player character can continue to level and earn perks, but the rate of leveling is slowed significantly.

Game Details

Space Marine does not feature a cover system. As a Space Marine, you are given enhanced regenerative abilities and an Iron Halo shield. When health gets low, performing sync kills can allow Titus to get a portion of his health back. You are accompanied by Sidonus and Leandros for most of the missions, though in some instances you will have to go on solo missions. The game features a fury system that, when filled up, allows you to either slow time for aiming or to unleash a devastating melee attack.

Your starting weapons include a Chainsword (Power Sword if preordered game through THQ), a Bolt Pistol and a Bolter, though the player can acquire other weapons ranging from Plasma Guns and Lascannons to mighty Thunder Hammers. The game includes a new weapon not featured in the actual table-top game known as the Vengeance Launcher, which can shoot mines.

The main antagonists the player must fight are the Orks and the Forces of Chaos. The Orks are an alien race whose sheer numbers and brutish warriors make a devastating opponent. The Forces of Chaos on the other hand are a far more serious threat who can literally extinguish the life of whole star systems by summoning nearly limitless amounts of horrors that flourish in a parallel universe known as The Warp. Portals conjured by the Traitor Legions (renegade Space Marines) allow the daemons to cross over into real-space.

In Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine, there are two multiplayer modes. You are able to play through the campaign in cooperative mode with up to four additional friends.[4] Player one will presumably play as Captain Titus, but it isn’t known who the additional players will be controlling. In addition to the cooperative mode, you can play an 8v8 class-based competitive mode. There are three classes you can choose from on the side of the loyal Space marines or the traitorous Chaos Space Marines. You can gain experience in gameplay by getting kills and assists which will allow you to gain levels. There are also challenges associated with different weapons and will unlock perks for weapons or armor pieces to customize your space marine with. In the competitive multiplayer, there will be two different game modes. The first will be annihilation, which will be a standard team death match, with the winning team being whoever has the most kills. The second will be seize ground, in which the two teams will battle over objectives on the field that give points, and whichever team gains the most points will win. A capture the flag game mode is possible through a future update.

Multiplayer Classes:

Tactical Marine/Chaos Space Marine: The Tactical Marine/Chaos Space Marine is a well-rounded soldier, able to competently fight in both fire fights and melee combat. He has access to every rifle in the game as well as the sniper rifle, and close range weapons.

Devastator Marine/Chaos Havoc: The Devastator Marine/Chaos Havoc sacrifices maneuverability for long range fire power. He is heavily armored and has access to the largest ranged weapons available to the player, including heavy bolters, lascannons, and plasma cannons. However the only melee attack available is a kick.

Assault Marine/Chaos Raptor: The Assault Marine/Chaos Raptor is the close combat specialist in the game. He is able to jump into combat quickly with his back-mounted jump pack and he is able to wield the more powerful close combat weapons with which to destroy his opponents.
